Modular Design
The VarioFold Compact operates primarily as an offline unit but is uniquely designed for modular expansion. With the optional Online Bridge, Connection Kit, and Premium Manual Feed, it transforms into a fully integrated online folder compatible with wide-format printers. Its space-saving structure is available in tabletop or floor stand configurations, including a height-adjustable option. Output trays include a front tray for 5 A0 sheets, a rear tray for 25 sheets, and a motorised high-volume tray supporting up to 75 sheets or 150-metre-long media.
Technical Specifications
The machine supports media widths from 210 mm to 960 mm and handles paper weights ranging from 60 g/m² to 120 g/m². With a folding speed of 20 metres per minute, it delivers fast and reliable results. Folding styles include fan, cross, and accordion folds, configured either from the panel or via the ROWE software suite. Optional endless folding modules allow for folding documents up to 30 metres—or with no length limit at all. Height settings on the stand can be adjusted between 810 mm and 1010 mm for ergonomic use.

The optional ROWE Fold App offers three versions: LT provides counters and 12 preset programs; SE offers unlimited folding configurations with extended fan and cross lengths; PRO delivers expanded control, supporting fan widths from 90 mm to 420 mm and cross folds from 180 mm to 420 mm. These tools make it ideal for use as a map folding machine or for highly customised folding patterns.
