Kaijie Chen is a Shanghai, China born surface and visual designer. The 26-year-old graduated from Donghua University with a BS in textile engineering and design, but her work belies any notion of rigid.
There’s little doubt that her education and training provide the framework for pushing the limits of those two disciplines. She knows the rules so she can break the rules. Take, for example, her use of inflexible inks that relies on the cracks to achieve a ripple effect in the design. She wanted ink that would intentionally crack as she manipulated her creation.

As some of you may already know, the General IQ990 Heatless Ink / Wolke WLK660082 has been in short supply and high demand. Like other suppliers, Array Ink too has had restrictions in the supply chain, but we have been scheduling supply to customers to keep everyone going.
However, as supply issues continue, we thought we should let you know that the General IQ800 is an upgraded ink from the IQ990 which was released a year or so ago. IQ800 was designed to be an upgrade to IQ990 and the good news is we have better stock position in it.

HP have notified us that the HP C6168A Spot Colour Red ink is discontinued and this ink will be obsolete by the 31st of May, 2018. We are offering an opportunity for a last time buy and these orders will need to be placed by the 11th of May, 2018. These inks will still come with the standard 12 months shelf life.
We are offering a substitute ink for the C6168A, the nearest match to the HP Spot Red in the Collins range is the Collins CM-500, this ink is a Process Red. This ink comes with a shelf life of 2 years and is priced at £32.56/€37.00.
